Posts: 599 New Mexico | I was going to relocate my temp sensor (decided against it), and when I pulled off the front bezel I noticed this attached to it. I disconnected it and checked my radio reception and temp sensor, but appears everything still works.
Can anyone tell me what it is?

You will still get FM reception if the front access panel antenna is disconnected, but AM and weather band will diminish. |

Thanks, that makes sense.
I didn't move the temp sensor because I was concerned about where to put it, and worried about breaking the bulb-like end or mounting clip. I did read a good write-up on it, but decided to just keep subtracting 3 from the readout.
Some good did come out of it - I found a new hide-a-key location
