I lowered my vision doing it my way but I have a better way for you. Go to HMD and buy the kit. You will get a lowering link a handlebar spacer so you can lower the front end to go with the rear and a must have you get a short kick stand. If you don't have the short kick stand your bike will tip over when parked in the wrong spot. As for the adjustable link I don't see it lower your vision by one inch and you'll not scrape on most drive ways and speed bumps and you should not bottom out. Once you have it lowered your not going to fool with it and if adjust two or three times it a choir to get it back where you want it. You can talk to Mike on how to and tips hes a good guy.

So how much do you two way? If you drive desent road there is no reason to adjust. You can add air to the shock. Stop an think how would you raise the bike up and then get it down to the same spot again.

Be sure you look carefully at how much you lower it. Any kind of serious road bump or pot hole and you will crack the bottom of your saddle bag bottoms. Believe me I know, I did it and didn't realize it until I pulled all my junk out to clean them inside and seen cracks in both sides. If your looking at doing it, consider getting the modified bag bottoms too. I got my lowered link from Honda Toledo.

Being adjustable, and only costing $150 is a good deal.
The question I have is what is lost. Most importantly, do you retain your suspension travel? If you retain your travel do you have enough clearance in the fender so the tire doesn't rub?

Add more air to shock. Yes you might bottom on a really bad pot hole
