Posts: 19 california | Just picked up my 2012 and was wanting any info on putting a 21" front wheel on my bike. Arlen ness has a fender relocation kit that will help with fitment. Looked at maybe doing a 23" but it looks like it might be be to much work and money. Anybody got any input, would be appreciated. |

Kewlmetal makes a 6 degree rake kit, and it will restore handling along with ride height. Works GREAT!! |

Posts: 19 california | Thanks boys! Can a 23" be done with rake or will there be upper fairing issues? |

| If you rake it the 23 will fit. I thought about it but the bike is already 9' 3" long. Lol! I am waiting on my 21" now. If you lower it with the big wheel on the front my dealer says it will mess up the geometry of the bike.

| A nice alternative to the 21" is a 19" x3". Specifically a 120/70r19 tire. It's just a hair larger but not enough to worry about lowering the front. Its a radial and is available in almost all makes of tires. It's a V-rod tire. You get more rim showing without having to change your fender or lower the front of the bike. Just an option. I've used it on Stratoliners, Road Kings, and other heavy bikes with no issues.
Ride safe,
