I've been there many times on my previous Goldwings and always have had a great time but I've haven't had the chance to battle the dragon on the Vision! In the one picture it looks like you almost touched down with the left pipe, which wouldn't have been good!

My brother and I was just there the weekend before on June 23rd. Temps were nice. We hit it just before the heatwave. Also rode up the Blue Ridge Parkway and then over to the Myrtle Beach. We were suppose to go all the way to the Keys, but TD Debby cut us off just before Jacksonville. We hit the heat going back across AL and MS. 104 degrees is not fun!

I rode up to La Grange, TX yesterday for lunch. About 150 miles, one way. Most temperatures were in the mid to upper 90's. Twice I parked and later came out to find my thermometer reading 113! But, it cooled back down after a few miles. On the way home, I stopped in the little town of New Ulm to rehydrate. In the shade of an old gas station, I snapped a pic of my thermometer reading 101 as I pulled in off the road.

Gotta love Texas weather.

I can't wait to ride the dragon on the Vision. I am still amazed at how it handles!

We were there on the 5th.  It was my 1st time through and only had time for 1 pass, as we did the Dragon - Chereola Skyway loop.  So I wasn't as aggressive as as I could have been, although the wife was having a good time "hamming" it up for the photographers.
