Posts: 175 Hinton, Iowa | This wekend I went shopping for a new Vision thinking I was going to buy a 2012. But at the second dealler I went to I asked how may 2012 Visions they had, the salesman told they were out of 12s but they got 3 13s in so after some dealing I am now the proud owner of a 2013 goldmist Vision. Can't wait to pick it up Friday.

Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | I was toying with a new one, but there is so many extras on my 2008. They told me I would get NOTHING on trade for the Ness wheels and rotors. Told me if they were me they would put the stock ones back on to trade it. Than I started thinking about all the other upgrades. Decided ABS ans less rattles (I'm assuming) isn't worth it at this time. Maybe in a year and a half when I hit 75K. |

| I'm going to wait for the next version of the Vision. I would like ABS but that alone isn't worth trading up for me. |

Posts: 175 Hinton, Iowa | I had 52K on mine and looking at the maintanece that was due and the way prices have dropped I thought now was a good time. Plus I took all of the stuff I felt like keeping for the new bike. Plus I love the style of the vision now. Who knows when they willchange it and if I'll like the changes.

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | The ONLY way I would trade my '08 is if the new one looked EXACTLY like my '08 - AND - if it was KevinXinated (has some oomph).
Since NEITHER of those are likely - I'll be keeping the SPCSHP - my last bike - it should last me until I'm 80.

Dang it Don, aren't you 79 already?!! I love mine too but I know I'm going to drool on that Gold mist/Bronze combo. Not sure who picks these colors but if it really looks silver(ish) they did a good job. |

| Hey Don, you at 68 and me at 72 probably are a couple of the older/young guys riding these spaceships.....I doubt if I can keep mine upright by the time I hit 80...Maybe by then I'll need one with a trike kit or sidecar,,,if I am still around.....Ride Safe |

| I see the vision has cross bike controls and wheels. I can't wait for them to do a cross front forks then eat my dust in the curves. Heck I love my 08 but if I could afford a Cross forks and trees on they would go and we would have one great bike. |

Hey John, what are you seeing that's different in the controls other than they're black? Still got a hydraulic clutch. I notice they put a black handlebar on it. Not sure I like that. Its got the same wheels they've used the last few years.

I was thinking about trading in my 2009. ABS and 5k oil changes seem almost worth it. Perhaps you could provide a review/comparison after you have a few miles on the '13?

I did rear some where they changed the compensating sprocket. Harley has a recall on them like Vic should be doing. If any body knows how many teeth on a composting sprocket tell me please. |

The X bikes have a cable operated clutch instead of hydraulic. The mirror threaded holes have been there since 2009.

theres more of a difference than just abs going from a 08 to a 13.. Double the oil change interval, NEW transmission. better radio reception, louder radio with better speakers. cooler looking wheels and hand controls with the build in ram mount holes, alternator charges battery from startup,(not only when rev'd) headlight does not come on until bike is started. (saves battery power if its low) regular cigarette lighter ports thats only what i can remember right now when i went from a 08 to a 11.. |

Keep pics 100K or smaller.
For those that are running a Windows computer, you can download an image resizing tool like this one to help get your pics small enough to post. http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/
