| I'm trying to find out if the GW1800 has the same clutch and break lever as the vision or X models. Not the part you put your hand on but where and how it bolts up. I want wider levers and they make them for the GW but not the Vic's Thanks For The Help |

| I had an extra set of levers from my '03 GL1800 and one of the first things I did when I got my Vision was to check fitment and unfortunately they most definitely WILL NOT fit. HOWEVER though, the brake system is made by Nissin and as such there might be levers for another metric bike that will fit due to the fact that many of the metric manufacturers as well as some Harley Davidson bikes use Nissin .brake systems |

| johnnyvision - 2012-06-24 6:23 PM In 08 Polaris went to HB Performance along with harley http://hayesbrake.com/customers.html Actually you are wrong when it comes to the Vision, pull the covers off of your brake reservoirs and (after you drain them) you will see "NISSIN" cast into the aluminum, plus, the front brake calipers are EXACTLY the same calipers as were used by Honda on both the '03 GL1800 and '03 VTX1800C as I owned both those bikes at the same time and kept the VTX for almost a year after I got my Vision (nice to know since Honda Accessories offers chrome covers for them). The ONLY difference on the front brake calipers is that instead of "NISSIN" being cast onto the outside of the calipers they are cast with "VICTORY" and are powder coated in silver/grey rather than the brown/black that Honda uses. THIS is the reason you can use any replacement (including Honda's) brake pads for the front brakes that will fit at the very least the '03 Honda GL1800 Goldwing and the '03 VTX1800C.

I had time to day to do more research and you are correct. I'm sorry for trusting you. |
