Posts: 446 East TN | What would be the best best brake pads for the Vision? The factory ones or are there after market ones that will make the Vision stop quicker and better?

| Funny I went to my dealer 3 miles a way he had to order them. I told the parts guy there the same as a gold wing 1800. He said no different malefactors. OK order them when will they be in he said 3 to 4 days. On my way home was burning no pads and you sell both makes of bikes.
Looked up Dennis Kirk order them had them the next day same amount of money. Not found of my dealer any more.

Posts: 117 Spring Hill, Tennessee | I love the Lyndal pads. Have had great performance. Life is "normal" as far as pads go, but stopping power and dust free is well worth any lack in extended life. |

Posts: 446 East TN | I got 36,000 out of my first set of brakes...I have just got my Vision running GREAT with a PC-V and a dyno tune...Now with that and living where I do...Does the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, The Snake, Devil's Triangle sound familiar? If so I have some serious twisties and when we play hard I need to have brakes that work WELL....Seems like the Victory brakes just don't have a GOOD feeling about them...Might be the calipers or the pads, figured the pads were the cheap way to find out where the problem lies.... |

| I'm in need of new front brakes at just under 25k miles. Looking at doing all three, has anyone tried these?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2011-VICTORY-Vision-8-Ball-Front-Rear-...
or these:

Which is better, Carbon/Kevlar (ie, Organic), or metal / sintered ?
Thanks

| Well, I ended up ordering some Kevlar organics from D2Moto. I used the hdforums 15% discount code and have all three sets coming to me for $34.02, shipped! Just couldn't beat the price. The discount code I used is D2M2008. The pads are made by Volar Motorsports. They also make sintered HH sets as well. |

Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | Just changed mine out to the ceramics form the same guy. The front pads were a little thicker than stock. Had to drain a little brake fluid from the fronts to make them work without rubbing the discs. These pads stop "real well" if you know what I mean. Hit the back brake to try and break them in and felt like I was doing an emergency stop on the first pass. I believe these are going to last a long time. |
