| A discharged or dead battery is one of the possible reasons for a car not to start. Sometimes we just forget to turn off the dome light or something else, or it could be some faulty component of the vehicle electrical system that drains the battery down. Sometimes, if the battery is old, it could just die one day, even if the day before it was OK. In either case, if the battery is low on charge, it won't have enough power to turn over the engine: you may hear some clicking noise or the starter may turn very slow when attempting to start the engine. A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.

Personally, on cars I'll run the battery out until I have to jump it, then I'll buy a new one. On the bike, I'll never do that if I can help it. Every three years or so I'll get a new battery whether it needs one or not. It's cheaper than having something else killed because I ran the bike with a weak battery that cost 10 times more.

Great advice. I do the same. Ijust recently replaced my cars battery. But i waited until it gave me issues. I think the visions battery location is great! Not only easy to access but it cools the battery as well! (When riding) | |
