Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Last Sunday I finally got a chance to meet Spock from Dallas. He made the trip down to San Antonio on his Vision and spent the night on Saturday.
Sunday morning we met up and rode to Alamo Springs Cafe, South of Fredricksburg, Texas off of one of my favorite roads called "Old San Antonio #9" http://www.alamospringscafe.com.
The bottom picture is one of the more challenging turns on San Antonio #9. When you start out you cannot see the narrow bridge. It is a left followed by a sharp diving right that goes to narrow bridge (without guard rails). Right after the bridge is a sharp right opening up to a sweeping left.
Since it was 10:20AM on a Sunday the place was empty except for two other riders. Normally the place is packed to the gills. I got severed a very fine burger in record time. This place was rated as one of the best burgers in Texas a few years ago by Texas Monthly Magazine.
From there we went to Luckenbach, TX. Spock is the skinny one in the photo.
From Luckenbach we went to the range for some practice with some of my friends.
Lessons I learned that day was to never go to a meet up without my CB communication equipment. My bad. It would have made for a better ride if we were in communication. I have also passed that on to others I ride with. I have the gear but I did not put it on the Vision.
Hand signals are nice but not as good as voice communication.
Craig thanks very much for coming down to South Texas. You are a straight shooter...in every meaning of the phrase. It was great talking, shooting and riding with you.
I recommend that everyone should meet up with and take a ride with other Vision owners in their area. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I do.

I said Spock....not Leonard Nimoy or Zachary Quinto.
You should ride to ComicCon. J. Michael Straczynski will be there....I can not believe they did not mention Babylon 5 in his Bio.

Crawford,
It is of excellent quality to be sure. The Black has not faded very much if at all and the design is very sharp and clear.
I only wear it about once every month and the wife turns it inside out when it is washed. She knows it is one of my special shirts.
Spock asked about it and I told him that I only know of one run of these shirts that were ever made.
Thanks again for your work on the logo and making the shirts. Maybe you can hook up with Jeff and Miles here at Vision-Riders so they can sell them to support the site. Just a thought.
