Posts: 52 Fort Covington, NY | Having an issue with my rear shock and Polaris answer so far is that I might be over the weight limit. Riders? weight total is 470lbs for two riders and we pack for 3 days each. I can?t believe that we exceed the weight limit of 574. What does everybody think? Thanks in advance! |

Next, what is the problem with your shock? If you're loaded like it sounds like you are, you should have about 70psi in that bugger. Also, if you load heavy alot, you may want to consider a trailer. You don't say how much each of you weigh, but it sounds like I'd cross Dairy Queen off the list of stops... (and I have no room to talk...) |

Posts: 52 Fort Covington, NY | i'm 320 lbs. my problem is that i had my shock replace last yr, it was leaking old bad. this yr my problem is that returning for a long weekend trip i thought bike was riding not very good so when i returned home i check air in it- 35 lbs. So i pumped it up to 65 lbs and rechecked two days later (no rides on it for two days) and it was down to 35 again. no oil on floor or on shock. Called dealer and he said that Polaris is wondering why my shocks are going, because they have had no problems with their rear shocks. Dealer is going to look at it and hopefully take care of me. |

| I have heard of rear shock problems. Leaking only when riding seems to be the main one I have heard. 2 in my group have had this. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Mine don't count but I started to have problems around 70,000 miles leaking oil and losing air. It seem bad at one time, but then it is going down slower now. I'll keep riding until it gets worse. I should have caught it under warranty but didn't think about it. |

Victory told me the same thing with the hairline cracks in my headlight. There are numerous posts out there about this... |
