Perry Hall, MD | After going to my local auto parts supplier looking for a Wix 51356 and finding that they don't carry it I started looking for alternatives. I came across a site providing some interesting discussion on cycle oil filters including a cross reference for those looking for alternative filter options. Hope you find it to be helpful.

Napa make a Ultra version of that filter.
NAPA sells the NAPA GOLD 1356. It's the same filter as the WIX 51356 and is made by WIX for NAPA. WIX also makes the same filter for the Carquest chain, as the 85356.
I get mine from Fleet Filter and order a case of them at a time along with filters for my other vehicles so the shipping cost is amortized. http://www.fleetfilter.com/filter/wix-oil-filters/51356.html $4.61 for one or $4.15 each if you order enough filters.
If you get right down to it, the actual listed filter for our bikes (and many other bikes, including Goldwings) is the WIX 51358 NAPA 1358 Carquest 85358. It's the same filter, but a little shorter than the "56" to fit those bikes with clearance problems. It's also more expensive since fewer of them are sold in comparison to the "56". We have no such clearance problems on our Victorys, so we can run the longer filter. Either the 51356 or 51358 works just fine.

Yeah, the dude recommends the $2 Walmart SuperTech, but doesn't recommend the WIX 51356 
My son worked at a Walmart Tire and Lube for a couple of years after high school. Walmart doesn't even use the SuperTech filters on customers cars.................................

Ruskin, Fl | Thanks Lenny. I had been using the Bosch 3323 but now the auto store only carries the Bosch Ultra. I change my oil too often to pay $13+ for the filter. I had been using the Fram without incident. I may rethink that. |

Been using the Mobil M1-110 on my freedom engine powered bikes, wife's car takes the same filter so I just keep an eye out for coupons or sales and keep a few on the shop shelf 'til I need 'em. |

Indianapolis, IN | <p>Here's a quick and easy if you can't find a specific filter in the size for the vision: Any filter specified for a 2001 or newer honda civic will fit the Victory Vision perfectly. The specs for the Honda civic filter (Wix 57356) and the Victory Vision filter (Wix 51356) are exactly the same. This can get you out of a pinch out on the road.</p>

Jasper, MO | A look at the specs for the WIX filter lists the burst pressure at 363 pounds. Should be enough. The Vision 106 only runs 80 pounds pressure.

Pittsburgh, PA | i was reading my 2011 service manual and it said the oil pressure is 80PSI at 3k Rpms.. I then talked to my friend who has a wing and he said they actually saw problems a few times with car oil filters on their GW's . so then i saw this..

Victoria Tx, TX United States | Don't use FRAM!!! WIX comes with a warranty IF they fail and blow your motor they cover it. YES Victory does run @ high PSI 2X of HD. Around 65 psi this is part of the synthetic v. dyne oil argument. |
