Rolling Thunder from NC

ALso, if you have gone in the past from the Raleigh, NC area, what route did you take? Thanks. Last year there was around 400,000 motorcycles. They stage at the Pentagon and then ride through D.C. If you were to stand and watch, it would take 2-3 hours for all the bikes to pass you. This will be my first time going.
