It is news like this that makes me look ahead to see what is down the road. I stay away from the scrap and trash trucks. Also, those trucks that are hauling construction equipment because sometimes they don't consider what can come off the equipment and bounce down the highway. Some have rubber chock blocks that can bounce right into you. Another one is the dump trucks with gravel or sand and is not covered. All of these stay away from them. While we are talking safety, don't ride beside or directly behind big trucks because if a tire blows, as they are prone to do, it may take you with it.

Reminds me of the time I was headed to Idaho. A big rig was TRYING to be nice and pulled closer to the shoulder to let all of us pass. Well, 9 of his 18 wheels ended up on the shoulder and kicked up so much crap we had to stop to avoid it.
