Anyone know about this new filter? Noticed it sells for $85 and can give the Vision a little HP boost for not much money which I like...Currently have dealer installed Stage 1 Kit and just wondering if this is workable for my bike..Any benefit to installing without other mods???

I installed the new VIF a couple of weeks ago - not for any added horsepower, but because I found that the foam had disintegrated in my three year old original style VIP. Since I also installed the 41mm AIS at this same time, I had to grind down the center divider on the top throttle body adapter in order for the VIF to fit. I would caution all with the VIP installed to check the condition of the two foam circular openings.

I had the old Lloydz one and maybe a little more horse I did say little but it all helps.
Went to the Ness one and feel I lost some mileage and not sure about the little part.
Lloydz you can install your self and I did no flash and I think my bike runs fine.

The original Lloyds filter was the first thing I installed. Nothing to it and I noticed a small power increase. Some people don't like the noise it makes at idle but it reminds me of the old cowl induction cars I grew up with.

If what you are talking about is the secondary air intake mounted directly over the throttle bodies.
That helped in milage and performance, you do have the air intake sound, but you get used to it.
I have ths secondary air intake, IAV and level 1 mufflers, love the sound from the mufflers.
Just right, not to loud but I can hear it. Had mine dynoed and it made 80 @the rear wheel.
The bike performed well before any modifications, but after the install of these parts the bike
will now lift the front wheel for at least 3 gears, have not powered any faster than that.
I estimate (will dyno again this year) that I have gotten another 10 HP at the rear wheel.
It feels that good. Where can you do intake and mufflers and get 10 HP.

So yes the Lloyd's intake filter works and gives you free HP.

1st Mod I installed myself. I noticed the difference above 3k RPMs. The new filter is quieter than the 1st. Well worth it!

The first mods I did were the Lloydz top filter, IAC Valve, throttle body spacer and Lloydz VFC3. With stock exhaust I got 92 hp and 111 ft/lbs. Not bad, I was loving it! So then I went with the cams and exhaust. Now I'm at 107/108 hp and 114/115 ft/lbs and love it even more!
