Posts: 423 northwest florida | Insurance company gave me a check for my 09 Vision. Now comes the hard part. Do I get another Vision or CrossRoad, The wife said she wasn't interested in riding anymore so back to what I like, bagger time. Which is the better deal, the CR Limited Edition or get a barebones CR and accessorize it? Tha LE does giving bragging rights. |

It's bad your Vision went down, but even if my goes down, it will be another Vision, so I really can't help you much more. |

| +1 on the CCT. I went from the Vision to the CCT and no complaints so far. Although I miss the adjustable windsheild. |

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | can you Test ride the cross bikes? i read alot of people that went from a vision to a cross bike and said the wind management was not even close to the same. also ive read this on cross about cross bikes that their dynos in stock form is less than a vision and LLoyd went as far to explain that is has something to do with how the cross bikes breathe vs the vision... my humble opinion the cross bikes are great. but they arent the most Original looking thing on 2 wheels. |

| Not my situation , but if it was I would buy another Vision without question....Without the need for huge bags, which I think are ugly on the CCT, the Vision wins my vote hands down!! CCT looks to much like the other bikes out there.......Do whatever makes you happy, your bucks, your ride, your life.... |

I say try them both because the new Vision is a little different then the older ones. |

| Buy whatever you like, personally I like the Vision better. I think it rides better but you're paying for it. |

all my dealers wont let you test ride their new bikes, because once you do they are No longer new and or the picky customer that wants their "NEW" bike to have No OR low mileage (1) on it will not pay full list price seeing someone else already rode their bike... now one dealer let me ride his Own personal vision because he didnt want me putting miles on one he wasnt sure i was going to buy or not.. and he was right... i didnt buy from him.... |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I can't name them everytime from the front, profile is to small, but from the side, it's almost a hit everytime. If you'll look at a Vision on a glance, it carries very well the distinctive swoosh across the tank and down through the seat as all Vics have except for the early 92s.
I used to be able to tell cars. make, model and year, just by the headlights at night... |

I have just heard on this board about seat difference and handle bars. I for one would take a good hard look at both before deciding. |

Posts: 103 Duanesburg N.Y. | time to find a demo day to go for some test rides, If it was me I probally go for the decked out cross bike. Life is short and you rode the vision for a while and now its time for some thing else. Go for a harley or a wing or what floats your boat. Enjoy them for what they are and for what they arent.
I like my vision for what it is and hate it at the same time for all the things wrong with it. kinda like being married.

The last test ride I've had was on a 2010 Vision 8-Ball. |
