Posts: 178 LaGrange, GA | So I joined the Vision club, however I'm still waiting for my bike to arrive. I used haulbikes.com to ship it from NY here to GA, apparently it could still be 2-3 weeks before it gets here. I've been riding for a long time, but always on much less comfortable bikes (85 Interceptor, 88 Hurricane, 06 Ninja 636, 03 Z1000.) I decided a few months ago that I wanted a bagger or touring bike to use as a daily driver. I like to ride a lot on my daily grind, and it's annoying having to pack small lunches, not be able to run errands, and carry all my junk in and out of the office every day. So I started looking around, and had pretty much set my mind on some flavor of Road Glide. I really preferred the Cross Country Tour, but was in the used bike price range and those aren't so easy to come by since they're fairly new. Then I remembered the Vision -- it's not like Victory is trying to get the word out about these things, most people don't even seem to know what they are. I had seen one at the Int'l Motorcycle Show in Atlanta in '08 when it was brand new, but had all but forgotten about it since. A quick search on eBay and craigslist and HOLY CRAP -- this is the used bike deal of the century. You can get a really, REALLY nice bike for next to nothing compared to its competitors. So I called up the Vic dealer down in Columbus to see if I could get on one for a test ride - that day it just so happened the tour truck was there. That's like freaking fate right there. Skipped out of work and buzzed down there, 15 minutes later I'm HOOKED. What a fantastic riding and looking bike. A couple of days later, and the purchase of this was underway...
It's on a truck somewhere outside WI right now, and I'm about to lose my mind waiting for it to get down here. So, glad to meet you. I'll be among you before too long, I hope. |

One word of advice be prepared to answer questions and a lot of them, it feels like I can't stop on it without having to answer a ton of them. |

Would've been cool, but with the plane ticket, gas, and most importantly the time off work I just couldn't swing it. Trust me, I wanted to. |

Yup, plus trunk mat and mirror, ipod cable, cell phone holder, and the HID. OMG I WANT TO TOUCH IT!!!
I know it's a weird thing to look forward to, but I want to learn how to do those "ride like a pro" low speed moves - I've never had a bike I could do that on. |

Arizona Victory has a Police Bike division and make a floorboard skidplate that you may find useful for those tight turns. I am having a blast learning the limits of my bike and myself.

| Looks like you got most of the good mods. I would recommend S1L2 pipes and then fill her up and enjoy the ride. Welcome and I hope the wait is over soon.
I watched nozzle dogs video above and it looks lie he had blue lights on the exhaust?? His bike sounds nice except when it was scraping. |

Posts: 188 Tifton, GA | Good another Vision Rider in GA to answer peoples questions at every stop. You talk to the guys, old ladies and I will take care of the good looking women Yes I had what looked to be a lady in her mid to late 70's roll down her window behind me at a gas pump wanting to know what I was riding. On second thought I will just keep talking to all of them you meet some great folks with interesting stories by riding a Vision. |

Posts: 178 LaGrange, GA | FINALLY got this beautiful beast today around 2pm. It is immaculate. Dude must have been obsessed with upkeep. The haulbikes truck driver thought it was new. So happy with it. Took a decent length ride with my dad, then picked the wife up and went for another. Never ridden with a passenger before. She's gonna have to learn to hold still when we're sitting at red lights, Lol. I think I'm really going to enjoy riding like this. My days on the tiny seats with my butt higher than my hands are over, I'm pretty sure.
It does have two small issues, but they may be related. The aux cable only plays out of the left speakers, and the volume control on the bar sometimes changes the radio station. I'm gonna do some connection and switch cleaning tomorrow to see if that will iron out. |

Make sure that the cable is fully plugged into the iPodor MP3 device. My original radio control cube on the left bar went bad and needed replacement. I did mine under warranty. If you do not have a warranty I might buy your current radio control cube to help you offset the cost of a replacement. I have a project I am working on and need a control cube to play with.

Posts: 258 Akron, Ohio | My 08 did the same with the volume changing stations thing. The control under the left side is to blame. only real fix is to replace it. You can use the dash buttons until then and it will work. |

Posts: 178 LaGrange, GA | Right on - did you try taking it apart to see if anything could be cleaned or repaired? I tried the cable in a couple of devices, pulling and plugging, wiggling at the base of the plug, shaking and flexing along it, the usual moves. Nothing doing. Tomorrow evening I'll pull the panel and see if the other end and any other plugs are loose or dirty. Also mount my cup holder and my floorboard skids. |

Posts: 178 LaGrange, GA | Well, the cable was a win, at least. One of the three pins was crushed in. I was able to get it straightened out and now all is well in aux audio world. |
