Got bike back from shop, had been running very rich- lots of black soot , very poor MPG ( 30-32) and sluggish response.

Dealer fix was replacing throttle body gasket- delaminating and allowing an air gap issue. Also, battery issues was not fully recharging so ECM was compensating.

Anybody else have the throttle body issue ?

Throttle body adaptor failure is not that uncommon

On the older bikes Barry Twowheels sold a replacement TB gasket because they had problems with the gaskets a lot. I haven't seen it on the newer bikes. Gaskets are man made so anything can happen.

Kind of like I am the only person I know that had the rear wheel crack at the rim in several locations. Ext warranty covered it after a go around.

I keep two in stock at all times it is so common. BTW it is not the gasket, it is the throttle body adaptor itself that delaminates.
