Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | your right it would be expensive. but considering all the other non important things people are making for our bikes that are close to $1000 , be it either cams or brake lights that dance all over the place in non important patterns. this would be somthing truely useful. now i know we wont see it anytime soon. I must say i give HD credit for coming out with a led setup. I used to always think they were behind the curve with technologies. |

| I'm guessing that with all the other bikes running HID lights Harley is trying to catch up. $524 bucks is a lot for something that should be stock. Think of the money Harley will make if they sell 200 of those lights. We need to change our lives and sell part to Harley |

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | that video of how they work is pretty impressive. Im not even sure our HID lights work that well.. i know mine works good, but it seems to shoot out LOW and wide. not really straight out . even with that said, of all my bikes ive owned i feel my visions head light is the BEST ive ever had! at light i get people flashing me their high beams all the time. then i think to myself....... OH YOU WANT TO PLAY THE HIGH BEAM GAME DO YA? lol BOOM! hows that for high beams!!!!! |

Posts: 208 Edmonton Alberta, Canada | If Victory used the same old 85 year old technology that H-D uses, (6052 bulb and bucket) we too could buy led replacments from trucklite/grote! I can only imagine how many people are running out to their Harley shops and ordering these. 20+ hours of daylight in the summer here, I rairly ride in the dark. |

Posts: 208 Wichita, Kansas | Ahhhhhhhhhh, But if someone could make a complete LED headlight assembly, it would NEVER need bulb replacements. One big fight to replace that bucket and then ride for the rest of the time you own the bike. No more skinned knuckles. No more practicing language the kids shouldn't hear. No more trying to figure out what bulb gives decent light but won't burn out in a year. no more buying ridiculously priced auxiliary lighting. They would sell like crazy.
MBW - are you listening? Just the sales for out of warranty assemblies which leak water would pay for the development!!!!!
Then Victory could work on improving the bike even more instead of worrying about how to fix their headlight problems. Oh wait. They already do that. Never mind.

| I'll have to admit they are impressive and the cost isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
