Posts: 554 2 mi from Jim Beam n KY | Anyone using the Vic app for Android? I was going to download it but : "Allows the app to call phone numbers without your intervention. Malicious apps may cause unexpected calls on your phone bill. Note that this doesn't allow the app to call emergency numbers. Allows the app to take pictures and videos with the camera. This allows the app at any time to collect images the camera is seeing. " I know the Google OS on Android has some security issues but this seems over the top? Am I just overly paranoid?

Id say the "app making phone calls" is what allows you to click on a dealer from inside the app and it auto dials the number.
.....no clue about the camera function though.....maybe the ride tracking? |

Curious, does Victory have an app for the iPad?
You can use the iPhone app on the iPad.
My friend uses the Victory iPhone app to check the weather radar. He likes it better then the weather apps because it is quicker and easier to use.

Posts: 74 Republic of Texas | I used my Victory Droid app today while on a 200 mile jaunt. It seems pretty good about tracking. Nice stats at the end of the ride.
Now. How about a couple of enhancements?
Google Maps and Navigation are great. Can Victory App link to Navigation so you can set a destination and use the voice direction feature?
Have the ability to eliminate specific roads on a route - like no interstate, toll road, etc?
Pick up average speed, max speed?
