Watch this: I'm removing the shiney bezel around my gages, very carefully using a plastic strip to pull up at the bottom (actually it's a small screwdriver, but if you use one it might scratch). There, that's off, now here I open the left glove box door. This allows me a better grip to remove the center V panel in front of the seat. Okay, lay that carefully aside. I've exposed the 4 larger 6mm size screws, and then the one smaller screw under the glovebox door. Using the tools provided, I remove all 5 screws. With the radio and switches installed I lift up the center console enough to tilt it to the left some too expose the plugs. The antenna plug always seems to be the biggest challe...challenge...come on... there. Okay, now, the radio plugs... oh wait, don't forget to unplug the commo plug, and the power plug if you have those installed in the console.

The radio plugs have a press-in lock tab, and then you pull off. They can be challenging also, but usually come out fairly easy. Okay, all that is left is 5 more plugs, three for the heated grip switch, remembering where each one goes, as well as the other two, one for the HID and one for the hazards. If you get them wrong going back in, the worse thing that can happen is that your hazard switch becomes your HID switch and your HID switch becomes your harzard switch. If you get the heated grip switch wrong, well, the worse that can happen is you get electrocuted and the bikes goes up in flames. Thank you for watching.

Varyder- LOL, good job. Do a search for the link to the pdf service manual. The body and frame section has step by step instructions and pics.

There's nothing to removing the console. I know it looks daunting but it's easy once you've done it.

My friend... Best thing for you to do is get on ebay and buy a service book for your bike.  You will have ALL you need to take that whole bike apart!

Looks like you have an 08.... here is the link for an 08 book: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Victory-Service-Manual-2008-Vision-Tour-/260898080824?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&vxp=mtr&hash=item3cbebcc838

Do a search. I just downloaded the 08 service manual for free. Don't remember if it was on here or another forum.

Here's a site with free Polaris manuals but I don't think the manuals are downloadable. You can print them page by page as needed, I guess.

I know someone on this web site will think that I am STUPID by asking this question but, I have to ask. Where is the "connector" for the battery chaSmadgerger? The manual says there is one but I can not find it .

"chaSmadgerger"? Now that's a part I haven't heard of.
If you mean battery charger connector, it's a wire pigtail that came with your owners manual. Just connect it to your battery terminals. It's designed to fit most battery trickle chargers (i.e. BatteryTender).

On the other hand, the framitz regulator is located under the left seat enhancer near the vacuum polarization switch.

Thanks Jedi, I should check before sending. My clumsey fingers do not flow well over the keyboard!!

There are two wire kind of hanging loose with a round conector on each one. Would that be the connectors for the tender??

The pigtail I'm talking about looks like this:

The round connectors should be secured to the battery posts. The polarity connector (seen here with a weatherproof cap on it) fits the mating connector on the battery charger.
