Got a PM with 2 questions on this:
"1. Does your Droid X stay stationary on the end of the RAM arm or does it vibrate or wobble around? The reason I ask is for readability while riding. "
It is rock solid, readability shouldn't be any different than the radio or GPS in your car. Most smart phones have car setting that also make the buttons nice and big, too bad I can't use them with gloves on.
"2. Does the weight of the phone make the arm slip downward on rough roads? "
Never, and I have hit some big pot holes. I added some more pictures, and as you can see I had to notch out the arm in order to get the phone located just where I wanted it. The metal was pretty easy to cut, and a dremel with a rotary cutter worked great.
