If I ain't careful, your gonna double my mileage! Not yet though! Wow, so any other issues with the bike? Fix the seat yet?

I plan on reaching that mileage but it might take another couple of years.

yeah, I see that, it runs around a grand when it's warm, I just started it. As far as issues go I think the clutch is starting to slip. I will go back to ma Vic semi-syn just to see if I notice a difference. If I do I'll keep my money there and buy stock. If not, I'll replace the clutch soon and stay with what I've been using. I just notice the slipping coming on to the interstate at full throttle in 3rd and when I went to 4th it seem to fade into gear, I didn't like that especially when the cager was try to keep me from getting in. How do I know? He back off after I hit the flow, but he was still trying to over take me even though I was doing 80 and still accelerating. People can be so stupid....

When merging, snap the Vision up to around 100 and you will merge very nicely. Anything below that allow the SMF in the cage to have a shot at you.....

I've had the same problem.   Heavy bumper-to-bumper traffic running 75, and no openings except one several car lengths ahead of where I was, so I cranked it.  But when you do that, make sure there's not a LEO writing a ticket at the end of the acceleration ramp.  When I passed him, merging at 100+ he looked a bit peeved.  All he could do was point and give me a threatening look. Luckily, I never ran across him again.  I think he would have found a reason to write me.

Out of all the 7 years in the saddle I've been pulled once. I'm not using the word lucky because I don't live off of luck, nor do call it anything else, except, I've never been pulled. I can share countless "caught dead to rights" where I got the stern look, etc, but last year takes the prize so far. While rolling some backroads, great backroads from PA through MD and WV I was in a rhythm. I was on a 55mph road with a lot of twists and turns when I rounded a bend on a straight topping over 75mph. I see brakelights come on about 1/2 mile down on a car on the side of the road. I roll off a little, the brakes come on again, and then again. I rolled off to the posted speed limit at this time and find it is one of Maryland's finest. I waved as I rolled on past into WV and crank the throttle again....
