| I was cleaning the 8-ball the other day and decided to lay it over to do some deep cleaning. Because it has been a subject on some of the forums I took some pictures to show how much clearance the "unfortunate" owners of this particular model have when their bike goes over. Mine has a little bit more than some due to some toe rests I installed, they keep the front tipovers above the ground by about 1/4". Overall clearance at the pipe is around 1" and this has been tested in a parking lot once at about 5mph. The only damage was the paint on the toe rest. The clearance is identical on the left side but I didn't take pics of that.

NAH~! None the less, glad it seems to work. Wonder if it would be the same without the extra you get from the Hatch Toe Pegs. |

| Well some people have gone down doing much faster speeds and I think in that case the pipe is going to be toast. I really didn't think that I was going to drop this bike going slow but if you get out of shape with an 800lb bike it drops quick. Be careful out there! |

What are the rear floor boards off?
They are off of a Cross Country, somebody was selling the mounts and boards for about $200 on Ebay and I grabbed them. The pegs that come on the 8-Ball have different mounts so you can't just put the boards on by themselves. The Cross boards will not stay folded up due to the Visions wide hips but they will fold most of the way up if your legs touches them. |
