Posts: 12 North Coast | Here are the first pics of my Vision sporting her new look for 2012. I've been slowly putting things back together over the last week, but I couldn't resist hanging a few pieces on temporarily and getting her out into the sunlight to check out the "sparkle" factor. The two tone parts still need to be pinstriped and cleared over, but then the painting will finally be finished!!! Looks a bit funny with no mufflers , but this weekend I hope to get the exhaust fabricated and installed. Did I do good? Let me hear what you think - good or bad! I can't tell you how badly I want to get her back on the road; with this mild winter we've been having on the North Coast, I probably missed 3000 miles of riding this season. Hope the results will be worth the wait!!

Yesterday on my black Vision a car was thinking of pulling out on me.....then they saw me. A Black Vision and the pilot wore a White helmet. He must have thought I was a cop...He slammed on the brakes and put his seat belt on.
At night that bike would look black and white....hmmmm.

LOUD!!! Not as loud as I thought it would be though - took it up the block and I could still hear the radio OK - but only got up to 35mph. Forgot how much I missed the sound of a big V-Twin on the loose! The new exhaust I'm putting together will have a couple of 4"diameter glasspack mufflers and rolled stainless tips - I hope it sounds agressive without being obnoxious. |

Great Job! |
