Posts: 494 Akron Ohio area | I've decided to compete in this event, but will wait a few months to make sure enough people sign up to make it a reality.
$1000 sign up fee and a $250 tracking device fee seem very excessive to me.
If you trigger the device to the fact that you are speeding 3 times, you are disqualified.
This will make the minimum of 1000 miles a day pretty boring. |

I'm comtemplating, but I'm sure work and other responsibilities would keep me from riding. Even with the limiter it would still be an exciting ride, minimizing the stops, as one would in an Iron Butt ride. I'm sure this ride will be a go... |

Just kidding.
I have to cancel my Alaska vacation ride in order to do this. |

| No, but I'll have a bunch of memories with my riding buds that money can't touch. When I'm a old man shittin in my pants in a nursing home I hope I have to the ability to remember my riding days. |

It started about the same time as the VMC in Prescott this year and you are suposed to obey all trafic laws. They barly left Mesa everyones driving nuts one rider died. We were riding up to Jerome AZ with nasty twistys made worse by the fact the state was grinding one lane of the road off. I had 2 Hoka,s pass me one on each side almost at the same time. Now if I was racing or involved in a race I would understand that trick. Then we all had to stop and wait for the pilot car to lead us through the construction and while we were waiting this van (crew filming Hoka Hey) pulls up passes everyone and parks in the other lane. The pilot car and everyone he was leading had now here to go cause Mr dumbutt was parked in the way. Even officials with the race don't follow the rules of the road. At the end of the race they disqualifed all the winners sounded to me like the race was going to finish in court. |

Posts: 188 Tifton, GA | I am thinking about doing this, but concerned about it being like the first Hoka Hey challenge. Just looked at that website and any American Made big bore V-twin can compete this year. Thought that last year you hade to ride a Harley. Anyway this looks like it would be a great ride and chance to win some money. |

Note how many times they mention that the Hoka Hey was a race and what happened when there was an accident. http://www.newsminer.com/view/full_story/16241926/article-Charges-set-for-Hoka-Hey-motorcyclist-who-hit-two-people-on-bicycle?instance=local_news . |
