Make absolutely sure the mounting surface is extremely clean. Remove any wax etc.

Tifton, GA | I used the 3M prep wipes someone on here gave the name of them about a year ago. They are still hanging on. |

Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | After installing the brackets, do not touch them for 24 hrs. It is tempting to see how the deflectors work, but you will limit the adhesive's life if you put pressure on it. Stick them on then don't even look at the bike for a day. If you do it correctly the adhesive will last many years. |

Duanesburg N.Y. | I bought a different wind wings. I got wind wings by baker (Bakerbuilt.com). I'm sure you haver seen them on bazillions of gold wings. They sure arent as pretty or as stylish as the victory glue on wings and yeah you have to drill holes in to the faring to hold them on but boy are they tough. When my vision went ass over tea ketttle off my bike lift last summer they held up great to the shock. They wont blow off at over 100 mph, ask me how I know, and dont change directions in the wind. What a difference ridding in the hot and cold. Wind wings reguardless of who makes them are the best buck you can spend on your vision. The best part of them is if some thing happens to one side i can buy just the parts I need to get them fixed, and the parts will get delivered to my door. If some thing happens to the victory wings I believe you have to buy the whole set up again. Please correct me If I'm wrong. My buddy has his fall off in the parking lot on a real hot summer day, thankfully not going down the road with me behind him.

Perry Hall, MD | I would suggest avoiding the temptation of using your foot to adjust them while on the move. I love mine and the only issue since installing them came when a deer ran into me and shattered one. Still the mounting brackets held firm. I did not use the promoter but would recommend doing so. I cleaned the area with alcohol swabs, attached with firm steady pressure, on a warm day in the sun, and didn't touch for 24 hours. |

Western Wyoming | I mounted mine 2 weekends ago.Ran the temp up to 75 deg.in the shop.Cleaned the lowers off with non amonia windex and the alchohol swabs where the mounts went. the templates are close but took awhile to get them exact.Just take your time make sure surface is completely free of wax.I used an erasable marker swabbed the surface down again and stuck them on.I won't be riding for awhile so should be set up good for spring.

| I drilled holes in my brackets. After mounting them with the 3m tape, I drilled through the side panels and bolted them on.
They're never coming off!! |
