Posts: 394 Tucson, AZ | Does anyone use the sunglasses with the built in mp3 player? I don't have a mp3 player or the cable to operate one. So I thought this would be a good choice. The concern I have is the additional width of the arms to fit on a helmet. Usually I wear a half helmet witch I believe, would be less restrictive. Now give me your thoughts.
TIA |

Posts: 102 Jal NM | I tried them one time but I didn't like how they felt under my fullface as they really cause a lot of pain and with the half helmet the don't give the eye protection like my motorcycle glasses or goggles. So I gave them to my son and just used a good pair of ear buds worked better and I can use them under any style helmet.
I ride my Vision now and don't have to worry about either now. I hope this will be helpful to you Gray Rider? Peace out and keep it up and safe out there. |

| Check your local pawn shops, they usually have a selection of ipods. Or there are plenty of generic MP3 players out there for probably less than the glasses you were thinking about. |

Posts: 394 Tucson, AZ | Thanks for the advise. We have plenty of pawn shops here in Tucson. Of course I have no idea what I should pay for one. Maybe I'll take my granddaughter, she knows all about these things. |

For a 2008 with the cheaper white cable you want to get a Gen 3 iPod Nano. I have two. One is 4GB and the other is 8 GB. Both bought at Pawn Shops years ago. I would think that an 8GB Gen 3 iPod Nano should be under $50 with the charger and the USB to iPod cable. Maybe even under $40.
I am attaching a picture of a Gen 3 iPod Nano so you know what to look for.
Have you read the Vision iPod Guide in the Tech Reference section of the forum?
