| Rode my new 2011 Vision for the first time yesterday. Loved it. But i went toadjust the mirror and it came loose. Popped the panel off under the windshield figuring therewould be a tightening bolt. Couldn't find it. Any guidance? Happy New Year. |

Congrats on the new bike and welcome.
There are 2 bolts holding each mirror
One is a 6mm allen head which will be facing up at you. The other is harder to see, but it takes a 10mm socket. It may be easier to slide your hand down the back of the mirror housing and feel it rather than trying to look for it.
You should be able to do a search on this site for nearly anything you have a question about. There was a video posted by Radioteacher I believe showing the mirror removal while replacing the front speakers. You should also be able to find a link to the service manual which could be a huge help.

Your hex head screw is silver. Mine is black and really hard to see. If i didn't know it was there I would have broke the mirror trying to pull it off. Did you change your screw? |

Completely ignorant, I still believe that periodically all engineers should be given a 'Dumb Ass' slap up side the head, and that comes from 4+ decades of dealing with aircraft engineers and their crack pipe induced ideas that seem to be lapping over into autos and motorcycles. |

For me the proof came while replacing a set of head gaskets on the one and only Ford product I have or ever will own. I'm convinced that the engineers made access to many parts so difficult only to frustrate shade-tree mechanics into using the dealer service with their 'special' Ford tool number PAYUS$$$. |

Did you change your screw? I painted silver so I might be able to see it better. I all ways have my camera in the garage to take photos when doing projects
