| Does the outer cover come off the victory vision headlight? The problem with mine is that it sweats on the inner part of clear lens and leave water spots and olook awful. Wife says i need to clean it DUH...how. |

BTW, for clarity, actual HEADLIGHT or the third light (the centered round one, might be HID on your model, but has a switch on the console for it)? |

| The hid round part is the place where the water spots are. |

Posts: 307 Columbia, SC | There was a technical service bulletin on that part. I don't know what year vision you have, but my vision it got so bad that it actually half filled up with water like a fishbowl during a heavy rain and it stayed there a few days. The dealer I went to replaced it under warranty and it has been good ever since. While he waited for the warranty part to come in, he just took a drill and drilled a small hole at the bottom when it was on the sidestand. Taht was to allow any water to drain while I waited for the part. I'd check with a dealer.

AlexiThank you for that info. Would know where to look for that tech bulletin? I keep my bikes very clean and those spot drive me nuts. |

Posts: 307 Columbia, SC | After rechecking my thread, it looks like it's not a TSB, but just a "known issue". Here's my thread where I got that information from and laying out how the dealer I was at dealt with it...

Posts: 804 Perry Hall, MD | If the warranty path doesn't work there was a member who posted that they took the light apart in order to paint part of the reflector area. The post described how to heat it to release the adhesive and then how to reseal it. Sorry I can't provide better info to use for a search. |
