Posts: 46 Maryland | I purchased my new victory 8 ball. Now that I have my bike I have some questions
What is the best exhaust for victory?
What is the best site to get discounts and victory parts and accessories?

Other setups may give better performance, others may have louder sound, or may be quieter. 'Best' may be the ones that keep the cops from pulling you over. 'Best' will also have to take into account what other mods you plan on doing.
Keep a close eye on the classifieds here for deals, there always seems to be someone changing there bike around and happen to not need the part you do need.
Members also start threads when find a smokin' deal on something too, so check the posts often as well.
Anyway, Welcome!!!
Your going to love the bike, no matter what you do, or don't do to it. |

I agree, the "best" is entirely subjective. The best exhaust system is the one you like the sound of the best. The stock Victory exhaust has already been proven to flow well enough to support engines modified to produce 135 rear wheel horsepower--it isn't restrictive. Change it if you want a different sound, but don't expect to get much, if any, performance increases from changing the exhaust. I'm assuming that you are interested in performance increases since you asked about the "best exhaust for a Victory". The best bang for your buck is a set of Lloydz VM1-DR cams, a fuel controller, and a top intake filter. These will get you from a stock rear wheel horsepower of about 80-83HP to around 110HP. Changing the exhaust is a personal preference and not needed to get the 110HP. Lloydz reprogrammed ECU puts the icing on the cake and lets you use the new power a lot more effectively--highly recommended.
Consider putting your location and your bike in your signature. Somebody may want to go for a ride with you, and it helps us answer any questions you may have if we know what bike you're talking about.

Posts: 244 Tucson , AZ | You wont notice enought difference between the different exhaust. They all flow better than stock. Its all about the sound... find one you like. Make sure you add an intake filter with a Lloyds programmer. This will complete the package and make a noticeable difference. Cams will really make it pull hard... highly recommend this improvement.
If you are looking a Ness Big Honkers i can get you a great deal on a set.
Merry Christmas.

Posts: 46 Maryland | Thanks all for your response. I am all about the sound. I have been on youtube listing to the sound of the exhaust. I found the D&D to be the best for me. @ HMD520 I visited your site. I will be getting the tones and tinted lights for rear and front.
