They were given unprecedented access to the line and followed the production of a 2008 Victory Vision. The show went deeper that a typical factory tour, and watching the birth of the hottest American touring motorcycles on the market will be both entertaining and educational. The air date for the premier of the Victory Motorcycles segment is set for June 6th at 9:30 pm Central.

You can confirm the airdate and replay dates by logging on to: http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-schedules/daily.html. Also, the week following will be a show about the Polaris products.

Wouldn't it be cool to find out that it was your Vision being followed and filmed? Kinda like the video of your child's birth (but less cussing and bodily fluids....

Since Polaris makes RANGERs there as well, the film crew shot them as well. I confirmed with contacts at Victory: The Victory segment will air on Wed 6/4 at 10:30pm ET and the Ranger segment will air on Wed 6/18 10:30 ET. Tell your HD friends!

Here's a question: I don't know about you, but every week or so, I get a promo email from Victory promoting various bikes. I'm assuming I get this as I registered on its website prior to purchasing the Vision. If they are sending out so many emails, why have they not told their customer base about this show? It seems like something they WOULD WANT TO PROMOTE.

Good question. I'm just helping spread the rumor. It could be a Harley plant they'll be looking at. But I see it this way, these shows are not venues to advertise, they are informative shows, so I understand as why Victory would not give even us insight without the risk of some agreement. I think we, as the riders, are doing a great job of advertising, a rolling billboard.

Something really stinks............
In my area, factory made episode 4 is about NFL footballs; modular home-building. Nothing about stamps.

Hey, these shows are more valuable than any advertisement. When you see an ad, what do you do? You go to the fridge or the bathroom. When the show is on, your eyes are on the screen.

Since any factory is a "secure" location, the TV crew was surely escorted through the facility by Polaris personnel. With this in mind, how would the factory NOT know what they taped or what questions they asked? Maybe they hit a sore spot...that's the only explanation on why Victory/Polaris did not inform its customers about this show.

There is another answer as to why we were not notified and that's simply They Forgot! Oops!

Or, could it be that the reporters brought up that nasty word? "Recalls?"

Good segment...loaded with fluff and little substance. I'm still wondering why Victory didn't promote it to its owners? When you get some free publicity, it would be nice to inform the loyals.

According to the online schedule they'll do it again Sunday morning at 10:30am. I'll miss that one but I hope it will come on again. Good plug for Victory and the Vision.

Since that show only highlights "great" products, I'm wondering if Victory paid to have it produced. It's very common on cable channels these days to have "product placement" segments. Either way, I'm still surprised that Victory did not promote it, or at least send an email out to its owners. Possibly, this is why so many riders still don't know that Victory is made in the USA. Marketing = Good!

No, but I think it was mine. They primarily showed the MC TP being assembled and dyno-ed. It was cool to see this bike being put together. It should be on again Sunday at 10:30am. Just look for episode #4. It's good we got a heads up before it was aired. A friend at work who rides a BMW said, I saw your bike last night and I was going to call you. I told him I was watching already and was on the phone with my brother who watched it also.

What else was on the program?

I see a couple of them listed, but nothing with the Vision. I see NFL footballs & modular homes, another with minted US coins & the g-force of washing machines - another one more episode has Cessnas & hang gliders.

Any of those the one with the Vision?

It also has something about stamps, and tequila. It only mentions a motorcycle factory, nothing by name. Next show is 1030am on Sunday, June 8.

I was in the middle of doing something Sunday morning at 10:35, when it hit me that it was on. So, I ran in, changed the channel and hit the record on the Tivo. I watched it later, good thing.... 'cause Monday morning, I stopped at Hardee's to get breakfast for hubby & me on my way to work, and this truck comes to a screeching halt next to me in the parking lot. This guy jumps out, and his 4 buddies fall out. This guys starts telling 'em all about this cool bike that he saw a show on Discovery last week, and telling them about my bike. Asking me to demonstrate the windshield, telling 'em about the split gas tank, the aluminum frame, etc. I was glad I saw the episode, so I knew what he was talking about. He said he only thought the only female rider was the one that dynoed it. Didn't believe that this big of a bike could be manageable to your average women rider. I heartily disagreed with him, and told him they don't get much more average than me, and I can handle it just fine.

Been keeping an eye out for this show for more than a few months now. Doesn't appear that Discovery will ever rerun this Factory Made series. Any chance anyone happens to have seen the episode anywhere on the net? I've done some searching but have come up with nothing.

Not to be a smudge ( Brit for downer, negative etc) but some of you from these post readings seem to have "connections" with victory
and were questioning why they didnt promote the show. I have a bigger question i would have preferred you guys to ask your "connections". WHY do you offer a technical contact icon on your website where owners can ask you questions when you obviously dont have anyone responding or manning that part of the site" As I have stated before, seems like typical American mentality in retail sales. Be all nice but once you stroke the check,,,,, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I would rather you remove the
"contact Victory" portion off your site than to keep it up unmanned and unattended only to piss many of us who have legitimate questions
and concernes that we perhaps might not want to go through our dealership with, (or even ABOUT our dealership). Victory is still an infant company. They dont have the history and brand reputation thus far, to ignore their customers. Thats bad business and honestly,
I thought a new company like this would have come to the table already knowing this. I love my two bikes, but the service from the manufacturer stinks ... so far.

Actually you can contact Lloyd and get a world of info on the Vic. motorcycles through him.
