well, here I sit waiting for my new front tire to arrive, the old one is slick and got that final ridge protruding all the way around. Also, I need to switch out my worn out rear drive pulley, and I'm using my original belt as my "new belt". The plugs have over 60,000 miles on them and they are getting thin. Still have all the original wheel bearings and suspension bushings. I got to keep airing up my rear shock about once a week, and the oil needs changing, only pass due by 1,000 miles (by the way, it's just above the add mark after 5,000 miles on this oil).
Okay, what can I say? Without a doubt this machine is Varyder Proof and certified.... |

Posts: 374 Tucson, AZ | Im trying to catch up...only 75K on mine. I did have the rear shock replaced under warranty. Have had front fork seals replaced, but other than that, same pully, belt, clutch, and I think it rides better than ever. Never in my life have I had so much fun....

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | vvt - I'm thinking for a job, an office job at that, that can add to my riding time. But I'm a stiff shirt 9-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. And I should say I'm a thankful, very thankful stiff shirt to have a job.

| So why is your shock leaking? Is it the shock or the hose? |

Shock. There is oily residue and crude around the bottom. I figured I bottomed out on a hard bump and having my carcass on it for so many miles I'm not surprised. It stays up for a little bit in warm weather, cooler weather though it leaks down faster. I wonder if I could use stop leak???? |
