Visionary
Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | ...of course we should leave Shirley out of this. I revisited a Gold Wing forum where I responded to a post four years ago when I made the switch from Wing to Vision. Four years ago the post started out with the title "Victory Vision - you got to be kidding!". We can all figure the negative comments, and sure, seeing that post then and switching to the Vision I had to respond.
So fast forward four years later I provide an update to my experience. The response now are more on the positive side, like one guy's brother-in-law owns one and he has ridden it a few times. He says the Vision really carves the curves, small side bag, but large trunk. His next bike he'll seriously consider the Vision. Other comments is that it is a really great riding bike but they still haven't gotten use to the style yet. No negative comments, and they even mention the Cross Bikes as a contender also.

Posts: 273 Midlothian, Va. | Since I came over from the Honda VTX world which by the way I still play because of almost 9 years and lots of friends a lot I still ride with they are coming to Victory by the way of the XC and some Visions. Of course the HD's are getting some business but I fly the Vic flag over there quite often and reviews are very positive. The VTX forum is unique in the sense of after owning them and buying other brands they still live on the forum (including me) proving it's not what you ride but the fact you do ride and friendships are thicker than brands. The X had a short lifespan 2002-2008 but had a great service record as far as trouble free and low maintenance. It was a good enough bike that I owned 3 of them and rode one cross country and back. I still miss it but do trade off with my buddies every so often to give them a thrill and me for some old memories.
