Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | I have just been curious as to the age of most of the purchasers or admirers of this style of bike. I understand this should hit a large range of folks, but I am sure Victory was aiming at a certain demographic makeup. What was your first impression of the bike. First thing running through the gray matter.
Let me start by saying I am 37 and absolutely thought this was the coolest bike I have ever seen. Love it or Hate it by design. I give it tons of style points. Showing the motor off highlighted with some chrome for old school. Electronics and gadgets for the nerd in me. Hot rod speedo and tach, with some 80's hot rodding for sloping the sidebags and integrating them. What appears to be total custom body work over the other existing looks of bikes on the market.
Just dang COOL! |

I was looking for a reliable American made bike. I have my 2003 H-D electra glide which has been a good, but unreliable scooter. Since I have a ton of miles on "The Money Pit", I was looking to trade her in for a newer version of H-D. Then I seen the vision, and then had a Vision! I searched the web, and talked to folks who ride every style of bike. Got a 50-50 response on liking the cosmetics, but 100% on the quality of bike Victory put out. With that being said, I was sold on Victory but the choice of bike was still up in the air. The vision, well had not really been out there for order or sale. I went to my nearest Victory dealer (More than 90 Miles away) and sat on a Kingpin.
That cinched it, Victory was it, then he told me more about the Vision, and I was sold 100%. I put the order in, I believe the end of June.
The Looks, the engineering, the quality and reviews sold me. |

Specially when the old lady comes along. She can pace stuff in spaces I didnt know the bike had. I think when you reach a point and have been riding for a while you owe it to yourself to be comfortable. |

| Pre Dirt I have been riding a chopper and the wife had her bike, she had a close call and wouldn't ride her own bike any more and needless to say she didn't want anything to do with the back of the chopper. So it was double up on her bike and that was just OK not to big and the performance sucked compared to the Chop. Well it was decided to sell both and get into a touring bike. I looked at Harley but the attitude of the dealership just chapped my a$$. I had seen pictures of the new Victory Vision and wanted to see it in person before putting money down on one. I had talked to the Victory dealer a couple times and he thought they would get a rep with one sometime in August. So anyway I happend to drop in and the Victory was there, they let me ride it and that was all it took. The pre order program had ended but the rep said he could take care of that so it was ordered. Cherry Tour Premium. |

Posts: 904 29 Palms California | I couldn't agree with you more about comfort. The young U.S. Marines that I work with just don't understand. They do like the looks of the other Victory's and think the "bar Hopper" style is cool. I'm here to say that the Vision looks cool! It also appears to have more comfort features that I'm use to. Best of both worlds! I can't wait to see the faces on all the old retired Marines that work with me here on the base when I pull up on the Vision. We all have H-D's....

Posts: 63 Corpus Christi Tx. | I'm a young 53 and ride an 05 Hammer but now realize that maybe it's time for some real comfort for long distance riding. I had a Gold Wing about 7 years ago and thought that it was the ultimate...which is..or was... by touring standards. But the Vision caught my eye instantly and I'm hooked. I'm traveling to a dealer next week that is 150 miles away just to demo a black tour that they just got in. I can hardly wait as I told my wife that this will be my last bike after having so many through-out the forty some odd years of riding. The cherry street is my choice and my wife will take the reins of the Hammer....who loves it and won't let me trade it in.
Good luck to all and ride safe.

I put down a $1000 deposit in April, went to Atlanta for a test ride w/ my SO and we both knew I had made the right decision on the Vision. I just wish it would get here soon. The days 'til Biketoberfest & Lobsterfest are counting down & my dealer still doesn't have a ship conformation :/ Luke |

When I first saw the Vision I didn't know what to think. I didn't really love or hate it (I think I'm in something like a 2 percentile in that regards, heh heh), but wanted to hold my final opinion until I had a chance to see one in person and test ride. I finally got to do that and I am absolutely sold on it. While I still think my 'Pin looks much cooler, you just can't beat the ride of the Vision.
It's starting to get chilly up here, so I think I'll wait until spring to get mine. I don't think I could stand having it sit in my garage all winter and not being able to ride it. |

Posts: 223 Valdosta, GA | At 33, I may very well be the youngest Vision owner. I haven't been riding long, but I tend to average 12,000-15,000 miles per year. That's a lot of road to cover on a Jackpot. The Vision is my 5 bike, thus far, and the most comfortable and pretty close to (if not) the best handling bike I've ridden. With the lower back issues I've been dealing with as of late, I just could put the miles on the Jackpot that I'd like to. I have two kids that love to ride, so passanger comfort was a consideration. My wife rides her own, so the fact that she doesn't really care for the bike didn't play into the purchase very much.

Did I tell you that no one owns one by me. It doesn't suck to have the only one in your county and one of maybe 5 in the state. Reminds me of my 99 V92C. Rare bike and an outstanding ride. |

Well, since you asked...58. Been riding 43 years. Bought my first Victory in 2000. My first cruiser. Still have it. I started bugging my dealer about having Victory build a Goldwing style bike in 2000. I had a Goldwing, and wanted the V-twin motor, low seat height, and leg room of a cruiser in a luxury touring bike. First time I saw the Vision, I hated it. Too futuristic looking. After riding one several times, the looks of it started to not matter anymore. They missed a couple of obvious things on the first rendition, like power reverse and a center stand, but it really is a Victory Goldwing. That's a good thing, and I'm enjoying my Vision.

I ride for a national biker club known as the Buffalo Soldiers we generally put in up to 15000 miles a year so I was looking for something that would fit that requirement. Posts: 725 Reno County, KS | I'm 32 with a couple other toys. I thought it was the most comfortable bike. I hated it when I first seen the ad on the internet. I thought it looked like a giant moped. When I seen it up close and personal, I realized how beautiful the front and rear end is. The front end looks like a jet-fighter cowl induction, the rear end is reminescent of an old Cadillac and the V-twin between sent the bikes look over the edge for me. When I was out shopping around, I took my girlfriend along to hop on the backs of all the bikes. We probably sat on 20 or so different bikes just that day alone. I didn't like the styling of the trunk but it has grown on me (a little), so I went trunkless. Out of the 3 on the floor (small dealership), we kept coming back to the one that had the exhaust upgrade and the primium package. It was a SSG street primo. Once we started it up and I heard the engine (it was the only one that had the level 2 pipes already), I was sold. My first ride down the street was with my girlfriend (26). She liked it that much. I didn't even get a chance to start it before she was on the back. I hadn't even got it home when I realized that it was an attention grabber. I stopped by my parents house on it the next day and I think my Dad (56) said it best. "The more I look at it, the more I want to look at it". He really liked the fully customized 05' V-Star that I had, so I gave him the keys and told him it was his (Happy Father's Day). We went riding together the next week to get the tags changed over on both bikes. |

Each ride feels like the first time, the very first time. From the first article I read I had to at least sit on this bike to see what it would feel like to finally be comfortable sitting at a light or riding down the highway. Incredible is all I can say, rock steady, 80mph feels like 55mph, don't ask me how I know. The Vision has made motorcycling what it ought to be! |

Posts: 297 VA | 31...guess I beat a few for the youngest title. Had a Kawasaki Mean Streak before this, and it was a fun bike, but I bought it when I was single, and it just wasn't comfortable for my then girlfriend, now wife. That and I didn't have bags or a windshield. Rode it to Myrtle twice, and decided the next bike I would get would be a "geezer glider." Looked at several bikes, rode my buddy's BMW, and my other buddy's Ultra Classic. Saw that Victory was coming out with a tour, so I waited and glad I did. First impression was that it was new and retro at the same time. I liked the fact that it was still a V-Twin and showcased the motor. I also really liked the fact that it didn't look like anything else out there. Even the metric cruisers are basically just Harley looking bikes, so this gave me something different. When I rode it, I instantly loved it. Took the wife for a ride, and she gave it her approval and then I just had to sad dog eye look at her for a few days and she gave in and agreed that "we" needed it. I love her a little more each day! My wife too!

As soon as Isabella is old enough, she will be tugging on my sleeve asking me when the next ride on the Vision will be. I was about to put money down on either a Road Glide or a BMW K1200 LT. Then I saw an article that Victory was going to make a full out touring bike. I waited and then fell in love with the look of the bike. Like I tell others, the first bike I actually got excited about in the last 10 years. The demo truck stopped in Gaithersburg MD in Sept of 07. Me and the wife left Virginia Beach Early Sat morning on my 98 750 Honda Shadow and rode up. Rode the bike for 45 minutes and was sold. Never looked back and I knew I was buying one as soon as I could. I even left a life long career and went back to doing my hobby full time and went to work for Polaris as a Tech all because of the Vision. almost 12 months later, I pretty much had saved and scrimped everything I could and dug into my life’s savings and pretty much paid cash for the bike. Might be a bit on the broke side of things, but me and my better half have not regretted it. |

Was going through a midlife crises and bought bike since it looked cooler then gold chains around my neck, low button down shirt, and cheaper then a convertible sports car.
Work to much and play to little.
Bike just reached out and touched me. Don't know why! It seems to have it all. Tour styling so the wife and I can take trips alone without kids … to far way places where we can make love until the sun comes up.
Street cruiser styling so it fits in with the cruisers.
Has the latest in technology, yet is also old school.
Is easy to clean compared to Harley's and the like.
In spite of simple design it still looks great chromed up.
Anther thing.
You can park it in front of a biker bar and not look lost like Gold Wings do.
Also, can park it at a Cracker Barrel and not look like a misplaced Harley rider.
BTW my wife looks really hot on the bike, and in her riding duds.
The Victory Vision was designed and built with guys like me in mind! In spite of a few bugs I could just kiss the Victory folks for building her for me!! |

I went in to the dealer to buy a Kingpin Tour but left with a Vision Street. At first I did'nt know abou the look of the Vision but after the first ride I was HOOKED!!! The dealer got a little worried when I was gone for a 1 1/2 Hr test ride. Now I love the look, every where I go people are stopping and aasking about it. Then when I show off the IPOD controller and adjustable windshield they are blown away!! My HD buds gave me some grief until our first couple of rides when I was comfortable jamming to tunes on the IPOD and I did'nt need to stop to rest my butt or get gas every 30 minutes!!! |

Honda makes a good vehicle, but they dont make a visually stimulating
vehicle. I traded my ST1300 because it was so freakin HOT to ride on, and purchased my Vic Kingpin tour earlier this past year.
My other half wouldnt even look at the Vision at that time. Love my KP but consider that my "summer" short ride bike. I went back and
purchased my Black Vision Street Premium 1.5 months ago. Now im considering selling my ness Kingpin she is beautiful with limited production skins chromed out the wazooooo (what is a wazooo by the way) and she only has 750 miles on her !!!!!!!
