Posts: 104 ROCHESTER,NY | Just wanted to say HAPPY TURKEY DAY to ALL!!! And add the fact that I'm going to ride an hour to diner today.We had about 36 hour's of rain the other day. So the season is back on for now.The little bit of salt that was used for our minimal snow fall last week is gone. HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Back in the saddle again,for now.

Posts: 444 Bay of Gigs, WA | Similar here in the NW. 7 inches of rain in 3 days, supposed to be sunny(ish) for the rest of the week now. Temps in the low 40's. What's not to like except it happens during the week?

I'd say more & less. The aluminum parts on the bike are more susceptible to pitting while the plastic parts of the Vision won't rust if the get nicked like a car.

Posts: 444 Bay of Gigs, WA | Semi synthetic oil, as used in our Visions (except by, you know, blasphemers), already has more salt than regular oil, so it doesn't taste as good if driven on salted roads. That's the main difference, as I see it.
