I searched first. I am looking for ideas and opinions for a new front tire. I am open to "outside the box" ideas. My rear is DS. I have almost 11,000 on the bike and the stock Dunlop is nearly worn out. I'm not very interested in using Dunlop again. Thanks in advance for ya'lls help.

P.S. I'm in Ga. and ride a 2010 8Ball Vision.

The brand of tyre is not as important as how it is maintained in regards to how much mileage one gets. I got 14K out of my stock tyre and 17K out of an Excedra by doing the following. First look for the manufacturing date stamped on the side wall cause old/new tyres wear quick cuase they are deterioated already. If it's more than 9 mos., move on. Second, I recommend, Dyna beads to balance any tyre becuase they work as evidence by a smooth ride and extended wear. Third maintain 41 psi at all times cause the #1 cause of premature wear is under inflation. Do these 3 things and whatever tyre you choose you should get the maximum wear out of it and barring any manufacturing malformation I would expect no less than 14-17K. Just saying.

I agree completely with V92SC. I got 17K out of my stock E3. Just following those same guide lines

I usually get at least 20,000 on the front, and 12,000 on the rear, and I'm talking wear bar. I'll take the front to 22,000 and the rear to 14,000 on my own.
