(Probably a good time to do a maintenance check.) |

Posts: 599 New Mexico | Congrats, SSX. That is an accomplishment to be proud of. I have a buddy that just bought what I thought was a new Harley. Sweet looking bike. Shiny, polished, not a speck of dirt anywhere - 1999, 5k miles!
Keep on riding!

Posts: 96 Princeton, IL | I know that sense of accomplishment. I never had more than 9000 miles on any bike I owned before my Vision, heck I never even bought a new set of tires. I have almost 45,000 on my '08 Vision. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine! Congratulations!!!!

Posts: 188 Tifton, GA | A Vision makes the miles just seem to keep adding up and adding up and adding up. I will roll 15,000 tomorrow morning on the way to work. Started my relationship with Liandra the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving last year. To celebrate that event I plan to get a Stage 1 upgrade when the computer is reflashed for the reverse I am installing next week. |

And I took a picture but damned if I can get it to load. Egads I hate these hotrod TV sets!

Posts: 492 Indianapolis, IN | ghostssx - 2011-11-13 12:31 AM I know it's not a lot of miles, but it is a first for me! Good on ya ghost! I know it's a good feeling, sorta takes you back to your youth. I rolled over the 30K mark yesterday. That makes two bikes I've logged 30K+ since 2004. I turned 50 a couple months ago and I feel more like a kid than ever! Keep logging those miles and have a blast. Ride safe brothers! |

That's a pretty radical way to get a new Vision, X....
Hope you weren't banged up too badly....look forward to seeing a photo of the first 10,000 odometer on the 12...

Posts: 82 Fargo, ND | I salute you 100k mile pilots. I just wish I had the freedom and the weather to ride that kind of distance. Here in Fargo ND we get about 5 months of riding and of those five months I only get about 5-10 weekends that I have to ride. I only live 5 miles from work so the daily commute doesn't add up very fast! 1000 miles or 100,000 miles isnt the real issue... as we have all said in the past... "it's the journey... not the destination" Ride safe my fellow visionaries. |
