Posts: 102 Orlando | At speed above 80 or so, I notice that my OEM mirrors are useless… Too much vibration.
Anyone else have this issue?
Any fixes other than ride slower?

Posts: 169 Iowa | There are 2 screws on the backs of the mirrors you can tighten. You'll need an Allen wrench. |

Posts: 1117 Northeast Ohio | On top of what Highwayman said, some have taken the stick-on wheel weights used to balance tires on a car and put them on the back of the mirrors. I tried this an it helped, but did not make it go away 100%. |

| My dealer tech installed some 1/4" thick dense foam squares about 1" in diameter around the corners of each mirror...Presto no more vibrations..... |

I did basically the same thing.... on my left mirror, as that was the only one with the issue. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | hdfed, yes, take a look and tighten up the mirrors, that should help you. I've suffered vibration since day one but the mirrors are still useful. I can still make out the cars, and if I'm travel under 80 it's not so bad. |

Posts: 763 Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | My mirrors did not not move at all until about 27k miles. Then the right one developed a slight vibration. I adjusted the mirror fully to the left then fully right and that helped a lot. There is still very minor vibration at 75mph. I will have try some suggestions in this thread. |

Posts: 492 Indianapolis, IN | The foam pieces work great guys. Once you a get it right the vibration will be all but completely gone, and if you use black foam you really won't even notice it behind the mirrors. |
