New Bohemia, VA | Well, this should be my 3rd Annual Veteran's Day Ride that I take to have lunch with the best veteran I know, my Dad. The tradition has been to have Applebee's free Veteran's Day lunch and it is always a good time with my dad who is 83 this year. Having served in the Korean conflict and received a purple heart, it is a special time knowing that our freedoms today is here because of men like him. Take the time to thank a Veteran this week, especially Friday. |

Michigan | Thanks to varyder, his dad, my uncle, my brother-in-law, and all those who have and do serve to protect our freedom. Next time you see a soldier at a restaurant, pick up their tab. You'll be surprised how proud and good it makes you feel. Our freedom isn't free. Honor and thank those who are paying for it in out sted!
We all need to remeber that the next time we are out riding our Visions and enjoying that freedom. |
