Dude,
Great challenge... can't wait until you start. How are you getting you and the bike to Alaska?

sweet. myself and 2 other buds will be doing this trip in June. Planned for 22 days, but will be doing it both ways, taking the long way on the way back to Vancouver, Glacier, Yellowstone, Black Hills, etc then back home to Georgia. Will be a 12000 round tripper for me.... cant wait! we will be going from Keywest to Prudhoe. When is steve doing it? i didnt see dates.

That sounds like a great trip! I haven't picked a date yet. Sometimes getting the time off from work is the most challenging part!

Rollin', at least you are riding the most comfortable bike in the world this time. I couldn't stay on my Kingpin for more than an hour at a time!

Good luck to all you lucky SOBs that can get this time off work to do something like this. It sounds like a blast.

LOL planning is half the fun of this. Look forward to hearing of your preps for the ride. I'll share what intel I get on the ride. The new edition "milepost" book will be out in print Nov 30th. Good luck and let us know when you get a date set. I will be doing this South to North....would be way cool to have 2 visions crossing paths on the Dalton or Alcan!
take care,
ride safe

Good luck to you Jeff, and to echo others on here, way jealous. Wish I could get the time off to do the ride, I think it would be an absolute kick in the pants. Go Rollin and Jeff, let us know how the trip goes.

Looks like its ready, I don't envy you the winter. Winter might be a long one, for someone with a bike like that sitting in the garage. Lol.
