Recall - if you have one of these Top of the Line Harleys you might want to check it out. Three years running '08, '09, '10, at least 250,000 units of the CVO touring. I just don't believe this could happen with the top of the line Harleys, I mean, wow, a quarter of a million units are affected. I guess the good news is that top of the Harley owners rarely ride their bikes, so most, if not all should be safe of this danger with the top of the line Harley CVOs. Did I say they were Top of the Line and not CHEAP-A? Anyway, where's the ridingcowgirl, he should be all over this one...

| I have a couple friends with those bikes, both 2010. In addition to the brake light switch both have had the seat replaced several times and one has had the trunk replaced three times. And if you can believe this, they said they didn't look at Victory before they bought because of quality issues. |

I don't see Victory doing a recall on there Vision for there headlights that keeps cracking up.
3 crack headlights in 18 months...2 in the last 6 months...that's $1000.00 a year for headlights
Victory Vision 2010 |

| Both companys have had their fair share of recalls and that blows because they are both Americian companys, I have a 08 Vision and a 11 RGC and both have had issues, I also had 3 jap bikes that I never had a problem with and only changed oil and tires, thats sad.. |

Posts: 104 ROCHESTER,NY | OK,I'm finally going to weigh-in on this subject. People,if you purchase anything, and I mean anything you run the risk of having problem's.No matter what it is that you have purhased. But if you sit at home and whine on this or any other site, and that's all you do about it leave the, bike,or the car in the driveway.Put the dvd player in the closet, along with the coffe pot.If you went to the steak house down the road from your house, and you ordered,a rare steak and it came to your table well done,AND YOU ATE IT,you need to have your head examined.Yes the process of getting a new steak to your liking is easier than, replacing a cracked fender but if you don't pusue the issue until it's taken care of...SHUT UP and SUCK IT UP!!! Sooner or later one of us that has the dilagence, or ball's will get through to someone, get the issue fixed, the you will get your's fixed to. TIRED OF ALL THE WHINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!! WHEN DID AMERICAN'S BECOME SO SOFT??????????? |

| "I also had 3 jap bikes that I never had a problem with and only changed oil and tires, thats sad.." So none of those were the Goldwings with the cracked frames? The GW is their top of the line? They didn't own up to that for like 4 years. Since all that flooding in the Philippines come to find out Honda builds cars there so I guess they have the quality not Japan? Toyota holds the record for most recalls now.
Every company will have recalls it's how they handle it that is the important issue. |

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | i think thats the whole idea of this thread is to make fun of people who think NO bike should ever have a problem..... i personally went to victory from kawasaki and honda due to their problems and how they handled them. All my kawasaki's had fuel system problems. and dealers were fairly Untrained in how to work on the products they sold. Then there was the weeks and weeks to get very simple parts. hell my dealers didnt even carry sparkplugs in stock, and when they had them they were almost $15 each. so i started to Order them from a local autoparts store.... all of this lead me to victory. my 08 vision had a dashboard problem. it needed to be replaced (almost $900) but the warranty covered it and i had the New dashboard/speedometer in my hands in less than 72 hours from my moment the dealer filed the warranty claim... hell my 2011 vision had a warranty claim the VERY FIRST DAY of ownership!! the turn signal mod failed.... it was replaced the same day i brought the bike in .... |
