Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Actually two great morning rides, yesterday and today, and I'm sure by the end of the day, two great evening rides home. Can't put my finger on it but both mornings have been surreal. This morning I actually saw another Vision, an SSG close to Fort Lee. I don't know who it is, and I don't think he saw me.
Also, on the way in this morning I rode in the cross directions of two seperate flocks of canadian geese flying in a perfect V-formation, as if they were celebrating the V-ictory V-ision. Okay, maybe a little over the top, but it was cool none the less.
Hope all that are still riding have a great ride today.
Ride hard, ride long, ride safe!

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Got up early enough this past weekend to ride to the coast and enjoy the sunrise. Riding there in the cool breeze of the morning along deserted streets, and experiencing the solitude of the beach reenergizes the spirit.

Posts: 3204 Memphis | I made a 300 mile lunch run on Friday. First time I've had the bike out of town in three months. Man that felt good. |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Today's morning ride sucked.
The weather was nice about 50 degrees and breezy. One road I take to work has been turned from a four lane divided to a two lane road. Yesterday was the first day of the change and cars are going nutz.
I had to look directly into the sun to see the car ahead of me.
The gate was damaged at the rail road crossing.
Well I guess it was not all that bad. I did made it to work OK.

Posts: 457 Green Bay, WI United States | Ride on Brothers and Sisters. We all chose when to use our bikes as a mode of transportation. I am not fond of riding at night here in Wisconsin (fn deer) but make the choice as to do it or not. As far as the weather and being on the cold side, another choice. I ride with the heated grips and seat as often as I can. Keep in mind we are the only thing that keeps us off or on our bikes and as I always say.......

Today's ride was better. I got going earlier so I was at work before sun up.
Since it was the third day of the road change from four lane to two lane people are getting used to it and lining up.

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I could use a magic carpet ride this evening. President O'bama will be visiting within a mile of where I work and my normal route of egress will be blocked for a couple of hours. Anyway, it'll still be a great ride home, just a little later than normal. |

Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Had a wonderful ride thru Anza Borrego Desert yesterday. It's finally cooling off enough to do desert rides. It was only 99 degrees. 210 miles, and only 5 of it on the freeway. |
