New Mexico | "Cited for failure to yield"??? Yes it was an accident, but the biker was following the rules of the road and was killed because of someone's actions/negligence. Had that been a pedestrian in a crosswalk the mail truck driver would be in jail - end of story.
Kill a biker, go to jail.

Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | This happened to my wife and I early spring. Same LH turn at an intersection and same damned sun. Luckily, we goosed the throttle and were just nicked in rear of bike. We were able to slide to a stop on our side. Thank God for tip overs keeping bike from pinning us down. First thing she said was "OMG, I didn't see you" |

Central New York | What is this?!! Two in two days! Yet another. And in the comments, one clown, an SUV driver, blames the motorcyclist for using an "unprotected" mode of transportation. Would love to comment, maybe later, words just elude me right now.

Wonder why?!? No penalties!
Perhaps a $25 ticket for killing a biker would defer some of these deaths. It's more than most of these bastards end up paying.
